What Commercial Electrical Work Involves
Commercial electrical work differs from residential work in scale, in voltage, and in who else is involved. Many Southern Maine storefronts, offices and restaurants run on three-phase service — typically 208/120 volts in smaller buildings and 480/277 volts in larger ones — and a new kitchen line, a rooftop unit or a piece of shop equipment has to be matched to the phase and voltage the building actually has.
